About Joe Laverty

Joe Laverty is an Irish documentary, architectural & portrait photographer. His work has been published in RIBA Journal, Architects Journal, Dezeen, Wallpaper, Irish Times, Huck, Cara magazine & The Guardian among others.
Based in Belfast, he works all over Ireland & the UK and is always interested in commissions further afield.

Joe has recently completed an MFA in Photography at Ulster University, Belfast, where his work explored the Irish Sea in it’s current, turbulent times. Joe’s work often concerns unseen, liminal spaces in our urban environment. He has been exhibited in Dublin, London & Belfast, Navan and Tallinn.
